F.O.M. Functional Orthodontic Modulator
It is a modular device easy to assemble, designed to treat the 2nd classes.
It is composed of a buccal archwire with a bite and an advancing plane and it fits to upper molar tubes; the bumper is inserted in the tubes supplied to be welded to the buccal archwire.
It mainly acts as an activator but it is very small sized and very comfortable to the patient.
It opens the bite due to the double intrusion of the anterior teeth and the double extrusion of the posterior ones, it allows the jaw to move forward and distalizes the molars thanks to the bumper.
